HOKA ONE ONE® announces new partnership with the NN Marathon Rotterdam

HOKA ONE ONE®, a division of Deckers Brands, has been named as an official sportswear partner of the NN Marathon Rotterdam, one of the Netherlands’ largest sports events. Beginning in 2021, HOKA’s official partner status aims to enhance participants experience and help to further broaden interest in the event, engaging with its strong following in the running community.
First held on 23rd May 1981, the NN Marathon Rotterdam is one of the most-attended marathons worldwide and has been one of the largest two-day sports events in the Netherlands for years. Well attended by the world’s top athletes, as well as tens of thousands of runners from the Netherlands and abroad, the race takes participants along an iconic course, with the support of hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic spectators, before finishing on the historic Coolsingel. The NN Marathon Rotterdam has a range of various distances, making it an event for runners of all levels. Now in its 40th edition, it will be a marathon weekend combining elite and mass runners with a festive feeling. With no other marathon event quite like it, the NN Marathon Rotterdam was, is and will always remain #demooiste (the most beautiful).

As well as the creation of a world-class customer experience, the focus will be using this incredible platform to raise awareness amongst new and existing HOKA fans about the brand and its products. Currently, the men's record is held by Marius Kipserem (2:04:11 in 2019), and Tiki Gelana holds the women's record (2:18:58 in 2012). The Dutch record is held by Abdi Nageeye (2:06:17 in 2019).
