The Dutch Cancer Society (KWF kankerbestrijding)
The NN Marathon Rotterdam has been supporting KWF for years with Run against cancer. This year, for the second time, there will be walking during the marathon weekend and the organization has sought cooperation with the KWF Walking against cancer. The organization calls on every participant to contribute to KWF. Walk against cancer and for life during The Marathon Rotterdam Walk in Rotterdam.
Participants of the Marathon Rotterdam Walk are raising money for groundbreaking cancer research at Erasmus MC and other local projects. Walk against cancer too. Because there is so much to live for!

Your walk makes a difference
Every Dutch person will have to deal with cancer at some point. Whether you have it yourself or someone you care about, cancer disrupts your life. For all those people, KWF has been making the difference for 74 years. And you can contribute to that.

Walk against cancer during The Marathon Rotterdam Walk, and directly contribute to a better life for people dealing with cancer. Create a fundraiser page for KWF and get started to raise money. Will you raise 500 euros or more before April 1st? Then the KWF will reward you with a free entry ticket and a Walk against Cancer shirt. This way you walk in style in Rotterdam. Are you not reaching the target amount on time? Then you will of course have the opportunity to buy your starting bib yourself. In any case, you will be walking along in Rotterdam. All amounts are welcome and KWF appreciates everyone who is committed.

Edition 2023
During previous editions we raised a total of about 3 million euros for groundbreaking cancer research at Erasmus MC, the Daniël den Hoed Family home and the Daniël den Hoed bridge. Will you help us raise a fantastic amount again in 2024?
