The Marathon Rotterdam Walk
Do you want to discover the highlights of the NN Marathon Rotterdam, but do you prefer walking? This edition we will repeat The Marathon Rotterdam Walk. You'll walk the day before the marathon through the city, learn more about the marathon and you'll also finish on the Coolsingel.
You can follow the signs to walk the route. Along the way you walk past several musical acts and there are food and drink stations.
There is a choice of 3 distances:
- 5km
- 10km
- 15km
You can change your distance via your dashboard.
Due to the afternoon program, everyone needs to cross the finish before 13.15hr. This will give you enough time to walk the route at your own pace.

Will you raise 500 euro or more, before April 1st? Then KWF will reward you with a free entry bib and a Walk against Cancer shirt. This way you walk in style in Rotterdam. Are you not reaching the target amount on time? Then you will of course have the opportunity to buy your starting bib yourself. In any case, you will be walking along in Rotterdam. All amounts are welcome and KWF appreciates everyone who is committed.

Confirmation e-mail
I haven't received an e-mail confirmation, what now?
Once you are registered, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation. So please ensure that your e-mail address is entered correctly. If you do not receive the confirmation message within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder just in case the confirmation email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If you haven't received our mail, please contact us.
Stamp card
Where can I pick up my stamp card?
You can pick up your stamp card at the Marathon Sport Expo at the Postillion Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam. This can be done at the following times: Friday between 10:00 - 20:00 and Saturday from 07:00. Take this stamp card with you during The Marathon Rotterdam Walk. Without a stamp card you can not participate in The Walk.
Time limit
Is there a time limit?
Every participants of The Marathon Rotterdam Walk should be finished before 13.15 hr. The finish will be closed after 13.15hr because the afternoon programm will take place.
This means the following time limits per distance:
- 15 km: maximum of 5 hours
- 10 km: maximum of 3,5 hours
- 5 km: maximum of 2 hours
